Preeti Jhangiani was born on August 18, 1980. She is an Indian actress and model. She is known for her works in Mohabbatein (2000) and Awara Paagal Deewana (2002).
Preeti Jhangiani was born in Mumbai into a Sindhi family. She appeared for the first time in Rajshri Productions’ Yeh Hai Prem album opposite Abbas. This makes them famous, as well as the koala symbol used in the album. Subsequently, she appeared in Nirma Sandal soap ads and also in other ads.
Her latest release is Rajasthani Taawdo The Sunlight (Rajasthani) for which she won Best Actress at the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) and Special Jury Award for Best Actress at the Rajasthan Film Festival 2017 boxoffice, she recently appeared in The Pushkar Lodge.
Preeti said in 2012 that she would return to the film industry after marriage and motherhood.
She is the daughter of Gobind Jhangiani and Menka Jhangiani. She married actor Parvin Dabas on March 23, 2008 and had her first child, Jaiveer, on April 11, 2011. She gave birth to her second child, Dev, on September 27, 2016. She lives in Bandra, Mumbai, with his family.
