Luke Hemsworth, born November 5, 1980, is an Australian actor best known for his roles as Nathan Tyson on the Neighbors television series and Ashley Stubbs on the HBO sci-fi series Westworld.
Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, the eldest son of Leonie, an English teacher, and Craig Hemsworth, a social service counselor. His younger brothers are actors Chris and Liam Hemsworth. Her maternal grandfather is a Dutch immigrant and her other ancestors are English, Irish, Scottish and German. He has been married to Samantha Hemsworth since 2007 and they have three daughters.
Hemsworth was trained in theater at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts. In 2001, he began his career in the Australian soap opera Neighbors as Nathan Tyson. Primarily a television actor, Hemsworth has appeared in television series such as The Saddle Club, Blue Heelers, Last Man Standing, All Saints and Satisfaction.
In 2012, he starred in the six-part miniseries Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms as Gregory “Shadow” Campbell. He is set to star in the upcoming Australian war film The 34th Battalion as Robinson. He played the character of Caleb Duran in the 2019 movie Crypto, which follows the life of a family that becomes entangled in a crypto plot involving the Russian Mafia.
In 2018, Hemsworth was selected as the New Face of Tourism Australia and appeared in a Dundee commercial.
