Parul Yadav is a television and Indian film actress and model. She has appeared on various television shows and in films from South India, mainly in Kannada, with some films in Malayalam and Tamil. After her modeling career, she made her debut in the television series Bhagyavidhaata, broadcast on Colors TV in Hindi.
Parul’s career began as a model in Mumbai. In 2004, she made her Tamil Dreams debut with Dhanush and Diya. She has appeared on television with the daily soap Bhagyavidhaata, broadcast on Colors since 2009. This was closely followed by the Ka Coma comedy Ka Maha Muqabala on Star Plus, where she participated to represent the team of Raveena Ke Mohre.
In 2011, she made her film debut Kannada in Shivaraj Kumar‘s film Bhandhu Balaga as a sister-in-law. Later, she played in Govindaya Namaha, which became one of this year’s most profitable films. She played the role of Mumtaz, a Muslim girl who fell in love with Govinda, played by Komal Kumar. His performance earned him the SIIMA Best Beginner Award (2013), the Best Newcomer Award at Bangalore Times (2013) and a Udaya Film Award nomination for the Best Actor category that year.
